Double or Single Hung

Double-hung windows have two operating sash that move up and down allowing for ventilation on the top, bottom or both. Single-hung windows have only a lower operating sash for ventilation.

Casement

A window hinged on the side, the sash opens horizontally opposite the hinge. This type of window allows for full ventilation from top to bottom of the window opening.

Sliding/Gliding

Sash operate in a horizontal fashion to allow for full top to bottom ventilation. Because the sash do not open outward they are an excellent choice for rooms that face walkways, porches or decks.

Picture

These windows are stationary and do not open. This makes them more energy efficient and allows for larger sizes than a window that vents. Often used in combinations to maximize the view.

Bay Windows

Combining three or more windows together so that they angle out beyond the house wall. They can be casement, double-hung or picture units depending on the need.

Jeremy explained to me the functions of opening and closing the window that was installed. They also moved  my furniture to obtain easy access to the window and returned them after when the install was completed. Jeremy also assisted me access to this survey since I. wasn’t completely technology inclined.These 2 employees were gentleman the entire time, and I would keep them employed we out your company  no matter what. Walt and Mark Anthony were pleasant and made sure there was no debris left from the siding installation.  My house is gorgeous.  The siding is nice and has increased the value of my home. Our house is on a hill, has numerous large pane picture windows as well as several that are able to open with screens. The winds we have had here recently  in the Texas panhandle (combined with the snow, sleet and rain) have all stayed outside!!! We haven't had any whistling or noise issues and the amount of dust inside has dropped significantly! The double pane with the gas as well as the sun filtering tempered glass have made a big difference in the heat transference. The rooms inside remain temperature stable.  We have just ordered the new windows for our downstairs and I look forward to working with Abram and his crews!
