If you’ve lived in the Texas Panhandle for any time at all, you’re sure to have experienced an intense thunderstorm or two. Wind, rain, hail, lightning, tornados…we get it all! But what do you do if you think your house may have received hail damage by that rough weather?

We at Lone Star Windows and Siding have put together a cheat sheet for just such an occasion. Below you’ll find our step by step guide for what to do if you have hail damage or have been through a storm.

If you happen to be reading this before the storm, it’s always a good idea to know who your homeowner’s insurance agent is and the amount of your insurance policy’s deductible. Your deductible is the amount of money you must pay before your insurance will kick in to fix any problems caused by hail damage. These are just good things to be aware of before the chaos begins!

Jeremy explained to me the functions of opening and closing the window that was installed. They also moved  my furniture to obtain easy access to the window and returned them after when the install was completed. Jeremy also assisted me access to this survey since I. wasn’t completely technology inclined.These 2 employees were gentleman the entire time, and I would keep them employed we out your company  no matter what. Walt and Mark Anthony were pleasant and made sure there was no debris left from the siding installation.  My house is gorgeous.  The siding is nice and has increased the value of my home. Our house is on a hill, has numerous large pane picture windows as well as several that are able to open with screens. The winds we have had here recently  in the Texas panhandle (combined with the snow, sleet and rain) have all stayed outside!!! We haven't had any whistling or noise issues and the amount of dust inside has dropped significantly! The double pane with the gas as well as the sun filtering tempered glass have made a big difference in the heat transference. The rooms inside remain temperature stable.
